Privacy Policy

Last updated July 28, 2026

Terra Group, LLC(“Terra,” “we,” or “us”) operates Terra Logic Suite, a logistics platform used by construction customers, hauling carriers, owner operators, and drivers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to app.terrausa.com and the Terra Logic Suite services reached through it.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, company name, job title, mailing address, email address, and mobile and business phone numbers.
  • Account credentials: the email address and password used to sign in, and authentication session data.
  • Business and compliance records: motor carrier and DOT numbers, insurance certificates, W-9 forms, operating authority, equipment and trailer records, driver licensing and endorsements, and training or safety certifications.
  • Operational data: jobs accepted, dispatch assignments, scale tickets, proof of delivery signatures, load cycles, and site check in and check out events.
  • Location data: jobsite geofence entry and exit events, and, where a driver enables it in the driver application, coarse location while on an active dispatch.
  • Payment and settlement data: remittance details, settlement elections, and invoice records. Full bank account numbers are held by our payment processor, not by Terra.
  • Communications: messages exchanged through the platform, email, and text message, and records of consent to receive them.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, and pages or features used.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the platform: create and administer accounts, onboard carriers, dispatch work, track loads, and produce tickets, invoices, and settlements.
  • To verify eligibility and compliance: confirm insurance, authority, licensing, and training before a carrier or driver is cleared to work on a jobsite.
  • To communicate: send dispatch and operational notices, job alerts and project invitations where consent has been given, service announcements, and support responses.
  • To keep sites safe and accountable: geofence based site access, incident records, and audit trails.
  • To improve and secure the platform: troubleshooting, fraud and abuse prevention, and analytics on how features are used.
  • To meet legal obligations: tax reporting, recordkeeping, and responding to lawful requests.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. How we share information

We disclose personal information only as described here:

  • Construction customers and general contractors: for carriers, drivers, and equipment assigned to their project, we share the identity, compliance status, and site activity needed to authorize site access and verify work performed.
  • Service providers: hosting, database, email delivery, text message delivery, payment processing, mapping, document storage, and error monitoring vendors who process data on our instructions and are bound by contract.
  • Professional advisors: accountants, auditors, and attorneys, where reasonably necessary.
  • Corporate transactions: a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
  • Legal and safety: where required by law, subpoena, or regulation, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Terra, our users, or the public, including in the investigation of a jobsite incident.

Text messaging data

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. Text messaging

Terra sends text messages from +1 (844) 595-1793 in two separate programs, which are collected and treated differently:

  • Terra Job Alerts: job alerts and project invitations asking whether you want to bid on upcoming work. These are optional. We send them only to carriers who gave express written consent through an unchecked checkbox on our application form, or verbally to a Terra representative who recorded it on the operator profile. Consent is never a condition of applying to haul for Terra.
  • Terra Dispatch Notifications: service messages about work you have already accepted, such as dispatch assignments, schedule changes, site and gate instructions, and signature requests. You receive these because you gave us your mobile number for the purpose of receiving work assignments, so they are part of the working relationship rather than marketing and are not tied to the optional checkbox above.

Message frequency varies with available work. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Replying STOP stops every Terra text from this number, including operational dispatch notices, so carriers who want to stop job alerts but keep dispatch notices should ask their Terra representative to update the preference on their operator profile instead. Full details, including the exact consent language and sample messages, are published at app.terrausa.com/sms-opt-in.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage technologies. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not participate in cross site advertising networks, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising.

  • Essential cookies keep you signed in, maintain your session, and protect against request forgery. The platform cannot function without them, and they cannot be turned off from within the platform.
  • Preference storage remembers choices such as light or dark appearance and your selected language.
  • Analytics. Where enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and features are used and where people run into trouble. It records page paths, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and interaction events. We use it in aggregate to improve the platform, not to build advertising profiles.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in. Google publishes a browser add on that opts you out of Google Analytics across every site that uses it, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Because we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is no such activity to opt out of under state privacy laws that provide that right. We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as there is no agreed standard for how sites should interpret them.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as an account is active and afterward for as long as needed to meet the purposes described above. Compliance records, tickets, settlement records, and safety and incident records are retained longer where tax, insurance, contractual, or regulatory obligations require it. Text messaging consent records are retained for as long as we operate the messaging program and for a reasonable period afterward to evidence consent.

7. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls scoped to a user’s role and organization, row level database security, encrypted storage of integration credentials, and audit logging of sensitive actions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

To report a suspected vulnerability or a security concern, contact security@terrausa.com.

8. Your choices and rights

  • Text messages: reply STOP to unsubscribe, or ask your Terra representative to change the SMS preference on your operator profile.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any non transactional email.
  • Access and correction: most account, company, fleet, and driver information can be viewed and corrected directly in the platform, or by contacting us.
  • Deletion: you may request deletion of personal information, subject to records we are required to retain for tax, insurance, safety, or contractual reasons.
  • Location: drivers control location sharing through their device permissions. Turning it off may limit geofence based features such as automatic site check in.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

9. Children

Terra Logic Suite is a business platform and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we use personal information will be communicated through the platform or by email.
